TOFU MASALA Hi all, There is always a debate between plant-based protein and animal based protein.So tried making Tofu Masala.The dish came very good .My opinion is both recipes are great and we must include both in our diet . INGREDIENTS Tofu -200 g Onion -2 Tomato -1 big Green peas -1 cup (frozen or boiled) Garlic-3-5 Ginger - a small piece Green chillies - 2-3 Curd 3-4 tbsp Spices- turmeric,red chilli powder, coriander powder,sabzi masala,garam masala Fresh cream -1 -2 tbsp Whole spices Oil -3 tbsp Water as required Salt to taste Step by Step Instructions Cut the tofu in small pieces and soak them in water to make them soft.Later it will absorb all flavour of gravy and the masalas(spices). In a pan add 1 tbsp oil.Add 2 small chopped onions,1 big tomato,4-5 garlic cloves,a small piece of ginger,2-3 green chillies. Saute for some minutes.
