Pudina Chutney / Mint Chutney

 PUDINA CHUTNEY /MINT CHUTNEY Good day everyone, I am back with another chutney recipe . This recipe is made with mint /pudina and coriander leaves. You can store this recipe for  3-4 days in fridge . This recipe requires few ingredients and tastes good as accompaniment for bread,parathas,rice etc INGREDIENTS Pudina leaves-a handful Coriander leaves - a handful Tomato -2 big Garlic cloves -5-6 Green chillies -2-3 Dry Red chillies -2 Oil -2 tbsp Salt to taste                   Step by step instructions Clean and wash  a bunch of pudina and coriander leaves.           In a pan / kadai add 1 tbsp oil .Saute cloves,red chillies,coriander and pudina leaves and tomatoes one by one and keep aside. Instant Jalebi

  Instant Jalebi  I had made these juicy jalebis long back.Just thought of updating it now.No doubt it was very tasty.😋I had tried it before many times but met with failure but this time it turned out very good.Its not that tough if we maintain right consistency of batter. INGREDIENTS Plain flour/Maida -1/2 cup Curd -1/4 cup  Baking Soda -1/4 teaspoon Water -as required  Sugar - 1&1/2 cup  Orange colour - a pinch (optional)  Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon  How I Made   In a bowl take 1/2 cup maida.  Add1/4 cup curd to it. Also add 1/4 tsp baking soda.  Mix all well together.   Now make a batter adding very little water. Masala Dosa

MASALA DOSA Today's dinner everyone's favourite butter topped Masala dosa with sambar and onion & tomato chutney. Recipe For dosa- Clean ,wash and soak 2 cups boiled rice,1 cup raw rice together .In another vessel soak  3/4 cup urad Dal ,2 tsp methi seeds for 4 hours.After 4 hours grind finely in mixie.Let it ferment for 4 hrs to 5 hrs.Add salt to batter mix well.Add little water to adjust consistency. For masala Heat oil.Add 2 tsp mustard seeds,a pinch of hing,1 chopped onion,1 tsp chopped ginger,2 -3 green chillies chopped,curry leaves,1/2 chopped capsicum,2 tbsp chopped carrots,peas and saute for a while.Add turmeric powder,chilli powder,coriander powder, little salt and cook for sometime.Add 1 chopped tomato.Let it cook.Add 4-5 boiled potatoes,salt to taste, coriander leaves.Mix well.masala ready. ONION PAKORAS With the advent of rainy season one of the most sought out snacks is pakoras.So, today sharing an evergreen recipe of crispy onion pakoras. INGREDIENTS BESAN/GRAM FLOUR-1 cup Onions-2 big Green chillies-1 Red chilli powder-2 tsp(according to taste) Turmeric-1 tsp Salt-as per taste Curry leaves/Coriander leaves Ajwain/Carom seeds-1/2 tsp Water-as needed Oil-as required Recipe : In a bowl take 1 cup besan. In it add red chilli powder, turmeric,salt, ajwain.Mix well. Add chopped or sliced onions and green chillies.You can avoid chillies if making for children. Add very little water and make a batter of thick consistency. Heat oil.  Take small portions in palm and deep fry in oil in medium heat.Turn sides and cook pakoras till brown and crisp. Falooda Hello friends, One of the most famous summer dessert is falooda ice-cream or falooda kulfi.Today I have prepared falooda with vanilla ice cream.It was on my list to do for sometime and finally I made it.It tasted yum and delicious.This is a simple recipe just you have to do a bit of preparation beforehand.Below I have given step by step recipe of falooda.I will surely add step by step pictures some other day till then follow the steps and prepare yummy falooda for yourself and your family. Khaman Dhokla Made dhokla today.This recipe is easy and simple.Its like one of those instant breakfast recipes.Most of the ingredients are easily available at home.I have been trying this dish for sometime now but only this time i got the desired result in way of its looks and taste.You can serve this alongside green chutney .This recipe is from the state of Gujarat basically but it is liked by people all over the states of India. VADAPAV

VADAPAV (MUMBAI STREET FOOD) Today I will be sharing the recipe of Vadapav, a famous street food of Mumbai,Maharashtra.I have tasted this dish when my husband got it for us during one of his official visits there.We were really happy to taste it .It was delicious to taste with subtle and mild flavour.I then searched through the internet and after going through many recipes I finally settled on the recipe which I am sharing today.I cannot vouch for the authencity of the recipe but I can atleast confidently say the Vadapav will be as good as the original Mumbai one .The chutney powder too has many versions but I opted for this one because its easier to make and goes well with the vadapav and also tastes good.The green chutney I will be sharing is also a simple one which goes well with the vadapav.Hope this dish will be foolproof for beginners in cooking or for people who are trying for the first time.
