Onion Pakoras

ONION PAKORAS



With the advent of rainy season one of the most sought out snacks is pakoras.So, today sharing an evergreen recipe of crispy onion pakoras.

INGREDIENTS

BESAN/GRAM FLOUR-1 cup
Onions-2 big
Green chillies-1
Red chilli powder-2 tsp(according to taste)
Turmeric-1 tsp
Salt-as per taste
Curry leaves/Coriander leaves
Ajwain/Carom seeds-1/2 tsp
Water-as needed
Oil-as required


Recipe :

In a bowl take 1 cup besan.

In it add red chilli powder, turmeric,salt, ajwain.Mix well.

Add chopped or sliced onions and green chillies.You can avoid chillies if making for children.

Add very little water and make a batter of thick consistency.

Heat oil. 

Take small portions in palm and deep fry in oil in medium heat.Turn sides and cook pakoras till brown and crisp.

Serve hot with chutney of your choice or simply tomato sauce.
