DHARWAD PEDA
Tried making the famous Karnataka sweet - Dharwad peda .It tasted very good.
Recipe-
Make paneer with 1 litre milk.(Full cream is best but I used toned milk)
After 10 min take the paneer in a nonstick pan.
Add 1 tbsp ghee and 3 tbsp sugar.
Keep roasting till the colour of paneer changes to dark brown.It may take 10-12 minutes in low flame .
Also Keep adding 3 -4 tbsp milk after some intervals.
Once the paneer changes colour let it cool and grind in mixie.
Again take the powder in pan and roast for 5 more minutes.Add 3 tbsp milk and 1 tbsp sugar.
After 5 minutes make shapes with the mixture when it's warm.
Coat the shapes with powdered sugar.
