Chocolate Muffins

 CHOCOLATE MUFFINS

Good day all,

After some time posting again .Today sharing recipe of chocolate muffins .I made this using normal flour this time and it came very good.Next time I will try making this using Whole-wheat flour. This recipe requires very few ingredients and can be made really fast too.

INGREDIENTS

White Flour /Maida -1 cup

Powdered Sugar - 3/4 cup

Cocoa powder -4 tbsp

Baking powder - 1 tsp

Baking soda - 1/2 tsp

Salt - a pinch

Instant coffee powder -1 tsp

Milk - 1 cup

Oil - 1/3 cup

Vinegar - 1 tsp

Vanilla essence - few drops (I didn't have this so skipped this .So for flavour I added instant coffee)

How I Made (RECIPE)-

Sift flour / maida, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, instant coffee together and keep aside.

In a bowl / utensil take oil and powdered sugar (this time I used store bought powdered sugar ) together.

Then add vinegar and 1/2 cup milk .Mix well. If you have vanilla essence add now.

Now slowly add dry ingredients in the mixture slowly .Use cut and fold method with the help of wooden spatula to form a batter .If the batter is too thick you can add little milk too.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Once the batter is ready grease all the paper cups with little oil and add little batter and place a chocolate piece(I used Cadbury chocolate) and again cover it with little batter . Tap them to release extra air.

Now place the paper cups in oven and cook  for 12 to 15 minutes.

Once the muffins are ready check with knife or skewer to check whether they are cooked or not.

Let the muffins be in oven for 4-5 minutes with the power off then take the muffins out. Serve hot with chocolate sauce.

Delicious muffins are ready!!!😋

Please Note :

1) With this recipe I got around 11 small bite sized muffins.

2) I used instant coffee powder and not vanilla essence.

3) I made this cake in convection mode of microwave.

4) I used 3/4 cup sugar and  found the sweetness of muffins okay .If you like your cake to be sweeter you can add 1 cup powdered sugar.

5 ) You can serve this muffins hot or cold.

6) You can serve this muffin as it is or with some chocolate sauce too.

Hope you will find this recipe useful and try in your kitchen too.
