Cauliflower Paratha

(Stuffed Paratha )




With the onset of winter we start getting vegetables like red carrots,fresh cauliflowers, radishes,peas.Besides making curries,vegetable stir fry with them we all love to make stuffed parathas with some of these vegetables. So,today I am sharing the recipe of a stuffed paratha made by cauliflower and carrot.We can enjoy this hot  stuffed cauliflower paratha with pickles,chutneys and curd.It can also be a tasty and quick lunch box recipe for kids and elders.

INGREDIENTS 

Cauliflower - 250 g

Carrot- 1 

Onion - 1(optional)

Green Chillies - 3 or 4

Ginger - a small piece

Turmeric/Haldi - 1/2 tsp

Red chill powder  - 1 tsp

Cumin powder/Jeera powder  - 1 tsp

Garam Masala-1/2 tsp

Carrom Seeds / Ajwain  -1/2 tsp

Salt - to taste


Step by Step Recipe

Firstly we cut cauliflower into big pieces and clean and wash them .

We grate cauliflower with the help of grater.

Similarly we grated carrot and ginger .

We finely chop green chillies and onion and add to the same bowl.



Then we add different spices as per your taste.The filling for stuffed paratha is ready.



   

          



Then we make soft dough with whole wheat flour ,salt and water.



We roll a dough and fill stuffing ,close them and make a round shape.




Cook them in hot tawa both sides. Stuffed Cauliflower paratha is ready to be eaten.




You can served this paratha with pickles,chutneys,curd for added taste.

Sweet Pongal

SHAKKARPONGAL / SWEET PONGAL Good day friends , I prepared Shakkarapongal / sweet pongal.A South Indian delicious sweet dish most importantly prepared during Pongal.Its also prepared as prasadam /prasad on special occasions at every South Indian homes and temples.It is one of my most favourite dish.I even don't mind standing in queue to get sweet pongal as prasadam in temples.
