MOONG DAL PAYASAM/PAITHE PARAPPU PAYASAM/CHER PARAPPU PAYASAM A yummy dessert made with Moong dal /Green gram and jaggery.Generally made as naivedyam during fasting days.Prepared during festive days like Vaikunta ekadasi,Maha Shivratri when salt is generally avoided.You can also prepare anytime for your sweet tooth. I saw a purple cabbage in departmental store and was surely excited and bought one.The purple cabbage has many health benefits too.I tried out a simple poriyal with purple cabbage .It tasted good.Hope you like it.
