AALOO GOBI SABJI / POTATO CAULIFLOWER SABJI

Today I am sharing a recipe of potato and cauliflower sabji  .It is a no onion ,no garlic recipe for special days.I have used minimum spices too.Its a simple dish but tastes very good particularly during winters when we get fresh cauliflower .Hope you will like it.

INGREDIENTS

POTATOES-4
CAULIFLOWER - 1 SMALL(CUT INTO SMALL PIECES)
TOMATOES - 2
CUMIN SEEDS / JEERA - 1 TSP
OIL - 1 TBSP
TURMERIC /HALDI -1 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER - 1 TSP
SALT - TO TASTE
CORIANDER LEAVES - FISTFUL


PREPARTION TIME -1O MIN
COOKING TIME -15 MIN
SERVES -4



METHOD


Chop potatoes , cauliflower and tomatoes.












Heat a kadai/wok.Add cumin seeds/jeera and let it crackle.


Then one by one add potatoes and cauliflower .





Add spices like turmeric powder,chilli powder and salt.Mix well.


Add tomatoes and mix well .




Close with a lid and let the veggies get cooked.Keep stirring in between.




When the veggies are cooked  add water and close the lid. Cook the sabji in high flame for three to four minutes.



Aaloo gobi sabji /Potato cauliflower sabji is ready.Add some coriander leaves.


Serve it hot with rotis,pooris or rice and dal.
