TIRANGA HALWA









Dear friends,

India is celebrating Republic day.A spirit of nationalism from our side.I made Tiranga halwa /Tricolour halwa to mark this occasion.Hope you like it.


Ingredients

SEMOLINA /SOOJI /RAVA - 1 SMALL GLASS
SUGAR - 1 SMALL GLASS
WATER - AS REQUIRED
COLOURS -GREEN AND ORANGE
CARDAMON -1
GHEE / CLARIFIED BUTTER - 5-6 TBSP

















PROCESS



Heat ghee in a kadai.




Roast semolina in ghee.









                                                   Heat 2 cups  water in  kadai.



Add sugar to it .



When the water starts boiling add roasted semolina /sooji.






                                       The water has dissolved .Add little ghee and mix well.


Sooji halwa is ready.



Now make three portions of it .Mix colour in two.
















                         Spread  the three portions in a separate plates and let them set.











After some time cut to shapes according to your choice.








                               Arrange to make shapes of your choice.



                                           





You can make tiranga spirals by placing three flattened portions of halwa one over another.Then we can roll over with help of a plastic sheet to make Tiranga spirals.
