Hello friends,
Hope you all are doing fine .Today in my post I share one simple and quick chutney recipe that I always prepare as an accompaniment for stuffed parathas like aaloo parathas, mooli parathas, gobi parathas etc.Even if you are in no mood to make any vegetable side dish for normal parathas or rotis you can certainly try the above chutney recipe which will serve as a wonderful side dish .You can make it spicy or tangy as per your family preference .Hope you like it.

PREPARATION TIME-5 MINUTES
COOKING TIME -10-15 MIN
SERVES- 4

INGREDIENTS-:

TOMATOES-3
ONIONS-2
GREEN CHILLIES-3-4
TURMERIC-1/2 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER-1 TSP
SALT -AS PER TASTE
OIL-1 TBSP
MUSTARD SEEDS-1 TSP
WATER-AS REQUIRED
CURRY LEAVES-AS REQUIRED

PROCESS

Firstly chop onions, tomatoes and green chillies to fine pieces. You can also add grated ginger to this chutney as it will taste good.

Heat oil and add mustard seeds .Once it crackles add curry leaves.

Now add chopped onions ,green chillies  and tomatoes.  Saute all for three to four minutes.

Now add turmeric/haldi,red chilli powder .Mix veggies with spices and saute well.

After two three minutes cook onions and tomatoes by putting on lid.Keep stirring in between.

After the onions and tomatoes are soft and cooked well we shall add water as required. If you want thick gravy add less water if you want thin gravy  you can add little more but don't add too much as the chutney will become watery and won't taste good.

Let the mixture come to a boil.

Onion and tomato chutney is ready .

Serve hot with parathas, chappatis even dosas.

In the last post I had serve this chutney alongside Mooli paratha.
