In some method potato or paneer stuffing is used to make this pakoras but in this post I am posting simple and quick version of Mirchi bhajji that we generally get beside beaches.I remember eating such mirchi bhajjis during our tour to Kanyakumari  long back .Believe me along with the memories, the taste still renders in my
mouth .Hope you like it.

SALT -TO TASTE
BAKING SODA-A PINCH(OPTIONAL)
WATER-AS REQUIRED
OIL-FOR DEEP FRYING

PREPARATION TIME-10 MIN
COOKING TIME -5-6 MINUTES PER BATCH

PROCEDURE-:

Firstly we slit the green chillies in the middle. You should be careful not to cut the chillies in two. Moreover if you do not want too much spicyness of chillies you can remove the middle portion( a white coloured stem like) of chillies with knife. The chillies I used were not very spicy so I let it be .

Take flour in a vessel .Add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt .

Make  thick pouring  batter by adding little water.

Add a pinch of soda and mix the batter.

Now the batter is ready.

                                                                            Heat oil.

Now dip chillies one by one in besan batter and put in hot oil.

Let the chillies get fried both sides.Keep the gas flame in medium heat.

Mirchi bhajji /Mirchi pakora is ready .

You can serve it hot with tomato sauce or chutney of your choice.
