AALOO MOOLI SAAG KI SABZI







Hello friends,
Winter is season of vegetables and radish is one of the prominent vegetable found in this season.Today I will be sharing simple but healthy recipe of radish leaves with potatoes.I have added potatoes to give taste and bulk to the sabzi.Hope you find it useful.

Ingredients

RADISH LEAVES
POTATOES/ AALOO -2
TOMATO-1
GRATED GINGER-1 TSP
ASAFOETIDA /HING-A PINCH
CUMIN SEEDS/JEERA-1 TSP
TURMERIC-1 TSP
RED CHILLI POWDER-1 TSP
CORIANDER POWDER-2 TSP
SALT-AS PER TASTE
WATER-AS REQUIRED












PROCESS

Firstly clean and wash radish leaves(here I  have taken leaves of 3 radishes).Remove stalks.



                                                   Chop onions into small  pieces.

       Heat little oil and add cumin seeds.Once they crackle add a pinch of asafoetida and grated ginger.




Next add chopped potatoes.Add turmeric,chilli powder and coriander powder.Saute potatoes for a while.


     Then add chopped radish leaves.Add salt to taste.Mix well and close the lid and let the sabzi cook.




Once the radish leaves shrinks and potatoes are half cooked add tomatoes and let them cook .Close the lid of kadai .


Now the tomato is cooked too.Add little water and cook the sabzi for five more minutes.




                                                             Now the sabzi is ready. Switch off the gas.



                                     Serve this sabzi hot with parathas,roti.
