Tutti Frutti Cupcakes

 Tutti Frutti Cupcakes

(Made with whole-wheat)

Hi all!!

Today sharing recipe of whole-wheat tutti - frutti cupcakes .I have used regular atta that we use to prepare chappatis/Parathas for this recipe. This recipe requires few ingredients and moreover it takes very less time to prepare too . These cupcakes turned out good .You can prepare these cupcakes for tea time snacks or for kids birthday parties.

INGREDIENTS REQUIRED

Atta-1&1/2 cups

Vinegar-1 tbsp

Milk-1/4 cup +1/2 cup

Sugar -1 cup

Baking soda-1/2  tsp

Baking powder-1 tsp

Oil-1/4 cup

Vanilla essence

Tutti frutti-1/4 cup(as per choice)

HOW I MADE

In 1/4 cup milk add 1 tbsp vinegar and mix well and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Whisk powdered sugar and oil in a bowl.Add vinegar & milk mixture, vanilla essence.

Sieve atta, soda, baking powder ,a pinch salt 3-4 times and keep aside.

Now add  dry ingredients to wet ingredients by cut and fold method slowly.

Add milk to adjust consistency.

Add tutti frutti in atta and keep aside.(this is done so that they don't settle down after the cake is baked)

Mix tutti frutti in batter.

Grease the paper cups with oil or ghee.

Preheat oven at 180 degrees.

Pour batter in paper cups not fully though. You can add some Tutti Frutti on top.

Then bake the cupcakes at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.

Do keep an eye on oven after 15 minutes as every oven works differently.

Check the cake by inserting toothpick or knife. If it comes clean the cake is ready.
