Angoori Rasmalai

Angoori Rasmalai/Chena Payesh
(Paneer balls dipped in creamy milk)


         



Today I will sharing the recipe of 'Angoori Rasmalai /Chena payash.' Its one of the famous Indian sweet served chilled. This recipe requires very few ingredients. 

INGREDIENTS 

Milk - Full cream 1 Litre
Sugar
Water- to make sugar syrup
Dry Fruits- for garnish 

Step by step instructions 


Making of paneer/ chenna

1) Curdle 1/2 L milk and make paneer/ cheese.

2) Mash paneer well with hands for 5 min.Then make small round balls without cracks.

3) In a pan add 1/4 cup sugar and 4-5 cups water and heat.When it starts boiling add paneer balls.After 4 min close the lid and let the paneer balls cook for 8-10 min.The size will increase



Making of  sweetened milk

4) Reduce other half litre milk to quater.Add 1/2 cup sugar ,some dry fruits.

5)Once the paneer balls are ready add them to ready reduced milk.Heat for 1 -2 min.If you heat more the balls may break and dissolve in milk.



                 


        


6)Once cooled keep in fridge and serve chilled.

Potato Cheese Balls

  Potato Cheese Balls  Hi all!! A favourite of kids.You can make this recipe of potato cheese balls with very few ingredients. INGREDIENTS Potatoes - 5-6 Cheese slices  Boiled sweetcorn -1 tbsp  Powdered black pepper- 2 tsp  Red chilli powder - 2 tsp (optional) Garam masala-1 tsp  Flour -1 tbsp  Water - As required Salt to taste Recipe -: Boil potatoes in a pressure cooker.Strain water.  In a bowl mash the potatoes.  Add corn,black pepper,red chilli powder  garam masala,salt to taste.
