PANEER MASALA

Paneer Masala

Hi friends,
As you all know Paneer is a rich source of calcium.Here is a tasty recipe of paneer which your family will love.Sure this paneer recipe is made with very little oil too.Hope you like it.



                                      
                                       




Ingredients
Paneer-200 g
Tomatoes-2
Onion-2
Ginger-a small piece
Garlic cloves-5-6
Cashew and milk paste-1 tbsp
Red chilli powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Sabji masala-1 tsp
Turmeric-1 tsp
Salt -to taste
Garam masala-1 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1 tsp
Kasuri methi-1 tsp
Cloves-2
Cinnamon -1 small stick
Fresh cream -to garnish
Oil -2 tbsp

   


In mixie jar take sliced onions,ginger,garlic,cumin seeds.Grind all to a fine paste.




Heat oil and add cloves,cinnamon stick  and grinded paste .Fry for sometime .
                                                    



                                                          
                       

                                                                             Now add tomatoes paste.                               
                                                   
                                                      

      Saute for sometime .Add spices and cook for sometime.If you want you can close the lid to cook .
                                                          

                                                           


                                                        When the spices are well cooked add water.
                                                        







                                                     

                                                 

                                                   Add cashew and milk mixture.


                                    Add paneer pieces and bring to boil.




                                                                          Add salt.



Cook for a minute.


Add garam masala.


                                                           



                                                                Add kasuri methi.



                                      Close the lid so that all is well incorporated.
                                         
                                  




Add green coriander leaves.
                                     


Paneer masala is ready .You can garnish it with butter and cream .
