AALOO PATAL / PARWAL / POINTED GOURD FRY


                                                  AALOO PATAL FRY




In summer patal/parwal is the most visible vegetable in green grocer's cart . Hereby  posting   a perfect side dish for roti with patal  and aaloo.It is quick to make and quite simple too.Hope you like it.


INGREDIENTS


Potatoes-3
PATAL/PARWAL/GOURD-250 Gm
Jeera-1 tsp
Tomato-1
Oil-2 tbsp
Red chilli powder-2 tsp
Turmeric-1 tsp
Sabji Masala-2 tsp
Salt to taste

Serves -4 to 5.
Time to ready and cook -30-35min


                    STEP BY STEP PREPARTION OF AALOO-PATAL




Process-:


Peel potato skin and also lightly peel the outer skin of patal.

                                    Slice potatoes , patal and tomato in long pieces.



                                                               Heat oil and add jeera.


                                         Once jeera crackles add sliced patal then potatoes.




Add red chilli powder,turmeric,sabji masala .




                                                                Add salt to taste.



Add sliced tomato.


                                                                              Mix well.


Close the lid and keep the gas flame in sim mode.


                                                     
                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Keep stirring the sabji in between.




When the sabji / vegetable fry  is done 90%  take off the lid and cook it .



                                              Once the sabji is done switch off the gas.



Serve the sabji with roti or rice.
