SEVEN CUP BURFI

Seven Cup Burfi



                                                                   





Hi friends,
Today I tried a burfi made with a measurment of seven cups .All the ingredients are easily available  at home .Hope you like this .







Ingredients
Besan /Chick Pea Powder -1 cup
Sugar -3 cups
Ghee -1 cup
Nuts-as desired
Milk -1 cup
Grated Coconut -1 cup
Cardamon -2
Water -as required  (to dissolve sugar)




Time to prepare and cook -1/2 hr
Serves -15 -20 small pieces.



Process -:


Firstly grease a plate with ghee .



                                                                Dry roast besan in a kadai .





Mix besan with milk .





Add sugar and very little water to dissolve sugar in kadai .



  When the sugar begins to dissolve add coconut  








                                                               Add besan and milk paste.



Mix well and keep stirring.






Keep addind ghee as the bubbles come.








Soon the mixture will began to thicken.





  As th mixture starts leaving sides its time  to add cardamon and get ready to pour it into greased    plate.


Pour the mixture into greased plate.



                                        Add nuts.Press them with greased spoon so that it sticks to burfi.




                                                                       Cut desired shapes.




                                                 Once cooled you can store in air tight container.
